Ultreya is a Spanish word meaning to persevere. For cursillistas (those who have experienced a Cursillo or similar event), ultreya is also a regular gathering to celebrate and encourage each other to persevere in the Christian walk. LVCCM sponsors several regional ultreyas:
Some rotate among several churches while others remain at the same church month to month. See schedule details below. Most ultreya locations have a link that will display a map. Tri-City Ultreya Normally meets on third Friday of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Lou Guenther (989-835-7023) and Kurt Aven (989-799-3650) serving as coordinators.
Reed City Reed City Ultreya Returning to 5:30 p.m. and is coordinated by Bud Larson (231-832-2818).
Monroe Ultreya Normally starts at 7:00 p.m. Call 734-242-1401 for additional information.
Northern
A new ultreya group is being organized in the Warren, MI, area on the first Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Contact Judy Sutherland (586-446-8136) for details.
Quarterly ultreyas are being planned for the Thumb area under the leadership of Jane Nihiser (989-856-3013).
